Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so you have time to check in, get settled, and receive a quick walkthrough from our team.
For the best experience, we recommend avoiding caffeine 1–2 hours before your float, as it may make it harder to fully relax. It is also best to eat a small meal beforehand so you feel comfortable — not too hungry and not too full.
Please do not apply lotions, oils, heavy hair products, or conditioner before your appointment. We also recommend avoiding shaving or waxing 24–48 hours before your float, as the salt water may sting sensitive skin.
Do not dye your hair or get a spray tan the week of your appointment, as the salt water may affect fresh color or tanning products.
Pre- and post-float showers are required, and we provide quality shower amenities for you inside your private suite.
Just bring yourself. We provide everything you need for your float, including towels, robes, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and post-float beauty amenities so you can comfortably get ready after your session.
Floating without a bathing suit is recommended because it allows you to fully experience the weightlessness of the water without any distractions from fabric or tight straps. That said, this is your float session, and your comfort comes first. Birthday suit or bathing suit — choose whatever helps you relax.
For your safety, the safety of other guests, and to protect the purity of our float water, you may not be eligible to float if any of the following apply:
These restrictions help us maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable float environment for every guest. If you are unsure whether floating is right for you, please contact our team before your appointment.
How often you float depends on your goals. Some guests float weekly as part of their relaxation, recovery, or mindfulness routine, while others come in a few times a month when they need a deeper reset.
For the best results, we recommend floating consistently. Like most wellness practices, the benefits of floating tend to build when it becomes part of your regular routine.
We offer 60-minute, 90-minute, and 2-hour float sessions. If you are new to floating, a 60-minute session is a great place to start. Guests looking for a deeper meditative, creative, or restorative experience may prefer 90 minutes or 2 hours.
It can, depending on your skin. The Epsom salt water may sting small cuts, freshly shaved skin, or sensitive areas. We provide petroleum jelly that can be applied over minor cuts or sensitive spots to create a barrier before you float.
Some guests with dry or sensitive skin, eczema, or psoriasis enjoy Epsom salt baths, while others may find the salt uncomfortable depending on the severity of their skin condition. If you are unsure, we recommend trying an Epsom salt bath at home first.
For the most comfortable experience, avoid shaving or waxing at least 24–48 hours before your float.
Yes. You can add another person to the same float cabin if you would like to share the experience. This can be a great option for couples, close friends, or anyone who feels more comfortable floating with someone else.
The water is only about 11 inches deep. Because each float cabin is filled with 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt, your body floats effortlessly on the surface without needing to swim or tread water.
Everyone floats. The high concentration of Epsom salt creates natural buoyancy, allowing your body to rest weightless on the surface of the water.
Many guests who are nervous about enclosed spaces still enjoy floating because you control the experience. You can keep the cabin door open, leave the lights on, use music, or exit the float at any time.
Yes, and many guests do. The water is shallow and highly buoyant, allowing your body to stay supported on the surface. A gentle voice will let you know when your session is complete.
Most likely, yes. Your head and hair will typically touch the water during the session. We recommend avoiding fresh hair color within 7 days of your appointment and provide shower amenities for before and after your float.
Many pregnant guests enjoy floating because the weightlessness may feel relieving on the body. However, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before booking, especially if you have a high-risk pregnancy or any medical concerns.
Try not to touch your face once you are in the float cabin. If salt water gets in your eyes, use the fresh water spray bottle provided inside the cabin to rinse your eyes.
Yes, you can float while on your period as long as you use the same hygiene products you would use for a pool or hot tub. Choose what feels most comfortable for you.
Float therapy may be available for minors with parent or guardian consent. Please contact our team before booking so we can help determine the best option.
You can get out at any time. Your float session is completely private, and you are in control from start to finish.
