The Richardson studio is more than just a location. It is the very first Altered States Wellness franchise, and the place where the brand’s next chapter truly began. Owned by franchise co-founder JoJo Struebing’s father and stepmother, David and Leslie Mester, this studio brings an extra special layer of heart, belief, and family connection to the Altered States Wellness experience.

From early on, David and Leslie saw the vision JoJo and Kyle were building and knew they wanted to be part of it. Their passion for health and wellness, paired with a desire to invest in something meaningful, made Altered States Wellness the perfect fit.

Today, the Richardson location is known for its inviting atmosphere, signature events, and community feel. Whether guests are visiting for a monthly sound bath, a relaxing self-care day, or a fun group wellness experience, David and Leslie have helped create a studio that feels inspiring, welcoming, and deeply aligned with the mission of Altered States Wellness.

Husband and I found this spot when looking for a couples float experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The customer service was exceptional from the moment we walked in the door. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, made our day a little extra special in all the possible ways. We got a little tour of the other rooms like the fire and ice baths. Definitely plan to come back! Lots of time before and after the float to fully soak in everything.

Found this on ClassPass and went in for a sauna session. The cabins are so nice and I love that it’s fully private and has a shower in the cabin as well. Kyle, the owner, was there and was so great to talk to about all the other services they offer. The whole space is super relaxing and clean - loved it and will definitely be back!

Excellent all around!!! First, Makayla greeted us and checked us in. She answered our questions, gave us thorough instructions, offered us complimentary drinks, and was very friendly! The float tanks here are clean, beautiful, and are operated at such a high standard. The vitamin C shower is awesome too! I signed up for a membership because I have been so impressed since the first time I came in! The memberships are affordable and come with great perks. Love floating here!

We love Altered States Wellness! This health spa is life! The red light therapy is amazing! I have been nursing a meniscus tear in my left knee and the red light therapy has been a game changer in reducing inflammation and de-stressing. I have also used their Fire & Ice service to assist with healing. The staff is warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable on the services. Best spa in Dallas! Don't sleep on this one! Wellness is essential to health and this membership is essential to your longevity in a fast paced technology driven world.
